(WINDSOR, N.H.) - Christmas is fast approaching and food pantries along with “soup” kitchens across America are almost universally experiencing hardship. Not only are pantries suffering major shortages in supplies and donations, they are experiencing dramatically increased numbers of homeless and/or hungry patrons.

In conversations with a number of Samaritan services throughout the nation a picture emerges that fails to support the “official” statements of elected representatives from Selectmen all the way up to the President.

Old Man Winter Visits New Hampshire

Throughout the Northeast into tonight, bridges and overpasses will be the first to turn slick.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - A bipartisan group of eight lawmakers, including four Republicans, three, Democrats, and one Independent, signed a letter to President Obama, requesting more inspectors general in order to help prevent waste, fraud, and corruption in the Federal government.

The letter expressed their concerns over the lack of watchdogs in various departments, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Party Differences are Set-Aside for Veterans

Four New Hampshire officials set aside political differences to establish a full-service hospital for military veterans in their state.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - Anyone who has regularly read my opinion pieces knows that I tend to be a critic of most Washington politicians.

The regular collusion, corruption, and selfishness that exist in and regularly emanates from our nation’s capitol are shameful at best.

Free Staters: Bold Experiment in Living Free or the Drinking Man`s Tea Party

While a serious libertarian effort in the state seems to exist, the message remains cloudy.

`Great Salad Bowl`?

The fact that we were a "great melting pot" gave us the strength to endure because, first and foremost, we were all Americans ... each adding their own flavor to the blend in the pot.

Has There Been a Paradigm Shift in American Politics?

As a young boy, I was taught to examine the individual running for office — to examine his or her background, experience, history and political record.

The founding fathers each personally gave up a great deal in establishing our country as a sovereign entity.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - I understand that the Constitution was meant to be a living document that would change with the times, but there are certain basic rights that were included by the Founding Fathers that they deemed as critical to the establishment and/or continuation of the freedoms we enjoy today.

The right to keep and bear arms was one of these.

Career Politicians: It`s Time to Show Them the Door!

What happened in Utah is exactly what is needed! The army of career politicians (both Democrat and Republican) that supposedly represent us in Washington, D.C., have financially raped and pillaged the legal American citizen for too long.
