Phone Stolen from Child of Murder Victim on Christmas Night

It is hard to be one step ahead when you don’t think like a thief.

(SALEM) - Jessie Doyle Cavett Last night, the Grinch showed up in Redmond, Oregon. On Christmas night, a precious little girl who recently lost her mother had her phone, gifts and personal belongings stolen from the family’s vehicle.

27-year old Jessie Doyle Cavett was murdered by her estranged husband on October 12, 2013. Her two children were at the scene, and daughter Peyton was able to call for help. That is an amazing feat in itself, rising above the trauma and finding the rational thought to immediately use the phone. It was especially mature for someone her age. Peyton is five.

Two Men Indicted for Murder

Silverton Police Department Responded to a Report of a Deceased Male, The Death Was Ruled Suspicious

(SALEM OR) - Michael Dean McKinley Today a Marion County Grand Jury issued indictments charging Uriah Michael Dean McKinley, 22, and Andrew James Slover, 23, with the death of Jeffrey Edward Lamoreaux, 30.

On December 2, 2013, at 1704, the Silverton Police Department responded to a report of a deceased male inside the home at 218 Olson Road, Silverton, Oregon. Upon further investigation, the death was ruled suspicious.

UPDATE Two Missing Children Taken from Lebanon Oregon Home LOCATED

UPDATE: The two children have been located and are safe.

(LEBANON, Ore.) - Danielle Roulstin On October 26, 2013 at around 12:05 P.M. the Lebanon Police Department received information regarding two children that were potentially endangered.

Information obtained revealed that the mother, 29-year old Danielle Michelle Roulstin had taken her two daughters, 8-year old Vivian Fae Roulstin and 5-month old Sabra Marie Cook from the residence sometime since 4:00 A.M. on the morning of October 26, 2013 en route to an unknown destination. Further information revealed that recently Danielle has been dealing with mental health issues that could potentially put the children at risk of serious harm.

UPDATE: Oregon Amber Alert Cancelled for Missing Two Year Old

UPDATE: The AMBER Alert issued for Gresham Police Department was cancelled and deactivated. Gresham police confirmed the suspect was taken into custody and the child was found safe.

(GRESHAM OR) - Josh Cavett An AMBER Alert was activated in Oregon following a request from Gresham Police Department Saturday afternoon for a child and male suspect sought following a Saturday morning shooting at a Gresham-area apartment.

Gresham Police Department is asking for the public's help to find suspect Joshua R. Cavett, age 36, from Portland, who is believed to be accompanied by his 2-year old daughter Paige Cavett.

Man Sought for Sexual Assault

A vehicle associated with the suspect is a light blue Honda, possibly an Accord.

(JEFFERSON OR) - Marion County Sheriff's Detectives are searching for a man involved in a home invasion and sexual assault that took place on Elm Street in Jefferson on Friday afternoon.

The adult female victim told deputies that a man knocked on her door at about 2:30pm, asking for directions. The man suddenly forced his way into the house and sexually assaulted her.

The victim of the Saturday morning shooting at the Londonaire Apartments, 955 Concord St NE, died Saturday evening at Salem Hospital

(SALEM, Ore.) - Shooting investigation The victim of the Saturday morning shooting at the Londonaire Apartments, 955 Concord St NE, died Saturday evening at Salem Hospital.

He has been identified as 23 year old Charlie Rivera of Woodburn. Next of kin have been identified. An autopsy is planned for Monday morning.

The shooting resulted in the death of an adult male after he was taken to a Grants Pass hospital. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues with the involvement of the Josephine County District Attorney's Office.

Woodburn police are looking for a light-skinned adult male who robbed Guacamole Market, located at 1335 N. Pacific Highway, on Friday evening around 9:40 p.m.

The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect entered the store and took money out of the register. He made no verbal threats or any other communication. The suspect exited the store and headed south. A K9 search was conducted but officers were unable to locate the suspect.
