Psychological Stress Times X = PTSD

The psychological tension is sometimes super intense...

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - PTSD Two incidents during last week caught my attention for the causation of PTSD.

The first was the Chilean mine disaster. Those miners were trapped in something like an artillery barrage, only worse, for 69 days. The first 17 days were by far the worst with starvation and/or a further mine collapse which could have killed them all. It is miraculous that they even survived those 17 days with less than a few spoonfuls of tuna fish, daily or every other day. This will rank as one of the miracles of survival.

Medical Marijuana: Valuable Medicine: at 4500 Years- the Best Record

Dr. Phil Leveque, Physician, Pharmacologist, Toxicologist; is an instrumental aspect of Oregon's evolving medical marijuana laws.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Medical marijuana Anybody who reads my postings must know that I am a strong advocate of the above title. I get a ton of bitches and complaints. I usually conclude critiques are talking about Heroin or Oxycontin which are real killers. Alternatively, because both are smoked,

I think they are confusing Marijuana with tobacco which kills about 400,000 U.S. citizens per year.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - DEA Raid According to the Associated Press, U.S. AG Eric Holder sent a letter earlier this week to former heads of the Drug Enforcement Administration in which he promised that the Justice Department would continue to enforce federal marijuana laws in California even if the state’s voters approve Proposition 19.

Marijuana Update

A cultural evolution is underway with cannabis and Americans of all ages.

(CALGARY, Alberta) - Marijuana “Marijuana, Once Divisive, Brings Some Families Closer” is the title of the article in Saturday’s New York Times.

The title says it all. Fewer than 1 percent of people over 65 reported smoking marijuana last year. Nearly 4 percent, about six times as many, in the 50-65 age group, made the same admission.

The U.S. Veterans Affairs Department finally woke up to smell the coffee...

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - camouflage helmet I have been yearning for this title in Salem-News.com for about 11 years, since Oregon legalized Medical Marijuana in 1999.

Many of my first patients, of 5000, were veterans who discovered in Viet Nam that Marijuana was very effective therapy for BATTLE TERRORS, formerly called BATTLE FATIGUE or SHELL SHOCK which it isn’t.

United States War Veterans Gain Access to Medicinal Marijuana

For the US, it’s part of a slow, broad shift away from the old cultural ramparts erected in the 1960s and 1970s by the conservative "silent majority" and the tie-dyed, antiwar masses on the left.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Man outside a medical marijuana dispensary on Venice Beach in Los Angeles The military culture and the counterculture once stood apart across a great divide in the United States, one side waving red, white and blue, the other side letting its freak flag fly — often through a cloud of cannabis.

Times change...

The Worst Notorious Modern Medical Fraud

Drug companies have sold their ideas to the Veterans Administration and they prescribe hard drugs by the ton to PTSD Veterans. The evidence is that they don’t help much and cause a lot of harm.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Anti-depressants bring in billions of dollars I’m sure some people will take umbrage at my title. Keep on reading. First of all there are about 30 of them – why? It’s easy, most don’t work. In fact placebos (fake sugar pills) frequently work better.

Another point, their adverse side effects are horrible. Some even cause worse depression and even suicide.
