Salem Police Shoot Dog- Bullet Strikes Man

A man was shot in the foot and transported to Salem Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

(SALEM) - shooting victim being loaded into ambulance A Salem Police officer setting out to shoot a pit bull ended up shooting a man who apparently tried to place himself between the gun and the dog.

A Salem Police officer was firing at the pit bull, a spokesman says, when 38-year old Steven Deleon jumped in, apparently trying to intervene in the situation.

(SALEM) - Bill Bradbury Former Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury has officially endorsed Measure 80.

Measure 80 would replace Oregon’s failed system of marijuana prohibition with an effective taxation-and-regulation model that would allow adults 21 and older to purchase cannabis at state-licensed stores only.
