Two Injured in Shooting Outside Salem Pizza Restaurant

One employee said she heard the shots along with her manager, and looked outside and saw people diving under cars, parents picking-up small children, and cars speeding out of the area.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Two people were hit by gunfire and taken to Salem Hospital after multiple shots rang out after an altercation Wednesday night in northeast Salem.

Fire Rips Through West Salem Home

The fire burned so hot, that it melted the siding off the home next door to the east.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - A home in West Salem has been declared unlivable, and another home was damaged after a two alarm house fire Monday afternoon.

Salem Fire Department spokesman Laird Case says two people were inside the home, while another was outside when the fire broke out around 2:45 p.m. Case said that the homes occupants tried with buckets of water and a garden hose to put the fire out, but the fire spread to fast, and they called 9-1-1.

Coast Guard Rescues Stranded Kayaker on Oregon Coast

Woman Escapes Salem Mobile Home Fire

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem firefighters were able to quickly put out a fire inside a mobile home in NE Salem Friday afternoon.

Salem Fire Chief Brian Hoaglin told Salem-News.com on scene that the fire, located inside the Shady Acres Mobile Home Park at the corner of Portland Road NE and Hazelgreen Road NE, started in the kitchen and worked it's way up into the attic.
