(SALEM, Ore.) - Will.i.am and Senator John McCain from the new YouTube video titled A group with an uncanny resemblance to the Black Eyed Peas wasted little time in generating a music video about John McCain, similar to the recently released video on Barack Obama titled "Yes We Can."

The McCain song titled "john.i.am" features band members singing to the words of speeches likely to be remembered in American history.

Dramatic Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Delivers Surfer to Safety (VIDEO)

The surfer was safely rescued from a cove near Otter Rock.

(DEPOE BAY, Ore.) - Coast Guard rescue of a surfer in Oregon, Depoe Bay, 2-11-08 The Coast Guard rescued a surfer Sunday who became stranded by strong currents in a cove south of Depoe Bay, Oregon. The call came into the Lincoln County, Oregon 911 Dispatch Center at 1:41 PM.

They in turn contacted the Coast Guard to report a surfer in distress near Devil's Punch Bowl State Park. This is in an area known as Otter Rock which is probably the most frequently surfed spot on the central Oregon coast.

Military Funeral Honors Group of 35 Veterans in Salem (VIDEO)

Future events will continue throughout the state in order to honor those who, for whatever reason, did not receive military honors at the time of their funeral.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com The Oregon National Guard hosted a ceremony to pay respects to a number of veterans at the Salem Armory in Salem, Oregon Wednesday.

The Oregon National Guard Military Funeral Honors Team joined representatives from Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs, and leaders of the Oregon National Guard for the 30-minute, indoor ceremony.
