Israel is accused of using weapons that are highly illegal- internationally banned, during its latest attacks in Gaza.
Dr. Medhat Abbas, General Director of Crisis Management Unit, Ministry of Health in Gaza, said, "Israel has used a heavy metal in the 33 weapons against Palestinian civilians during the aggression, including uranium."
The deadly shooting has damaged relations between the U.S. and Afghanistan; now officials fear this latest violence will destroy any hope of political progress.

In a major embarrassment for the government, key UPA constituent DMK moved an amendment to the motion of thanks to the President’s address insisting that a paragraph be added on the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils in view of the reported human rights violations by the Lankan army during the civil war.
This is in addition to the disruptions in RS on Tuesday, in which the DMK took part in full measure.

We learn that in typical fashion, Israel has managed to ensure that 15% of its victims in this rounds of attacks on 'terrorists' are children under the age of 15.

Government today sought to mollify agitated DMK and AIADMK members who demanded India's support to a resolution at UNHCHR against Sri Lanka for alleged war crimes saying no date has been fixed yet for discussing the matter.
"Our traditional stand has been that we have never supported any country-specific resolution at the UNHCHR," Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee told the Lok Sabha as DMK, AIADMK and CPI members rushed to the Well raising slogans on the issue.
All sides must protect civilians in Gaza and Israel following ceasefire announcement

A ceasefire announcement has been announced after four days of attacks that endangered civilians throughout the Gaza Strip and a large part of Israel.
Amnesty International again called on Israeli forces and Palestinian armed groups to respect international humanitarian law and refrain from indiscriminate or disproportionate attacks.
