Man Hit by Train Near Gervais

(GERVAIS, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by an Amtrak train Thursday at 3:30 p.m. about 1/2 mile north of Gervais.

When deputies arrived they found a 33-year old Hispanic male who was deceased and identified as Antonio Montelongo believed to be from the Gervais area.
