Clackamas Robbery Suspect Busted After Hiding Weapons

The suspect faces two counts of first degree Robbery, measure eleven type crimes, with bail set at $500,000.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Police say a suspect arrested in the wake of an armed robbery in Clackamas was a juvenile who had been carrying a knife and a handgun, which were later recovered.

Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office says the incident began Sunday evening at 8:40 PM when patrol personnel received a report of an armed robbery that took place at the Clackamas Food Market on SE 82nd Drive and SE St. Helens Street.

Salem Man Arrested for Menacing Skateboarders with Handgun

The man is charged with two counts of Menacing, two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and two counts of Coercion. A pistol was also seized as evidence.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Police arrested the man they say is responsible for the menacing of two skateboarders last Friday just before 10:00 PM in south Salem.

Lt. Steve Birr with Salem Police says investigators received a tip that 44-year old Mikhail Kotenko was the suspect they were looking for, wanted in connection with an incident last Friday during which two skateboarders were threatened by a man with a handgun.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - An alert employee at an area casino is credited with recognizing a man wanted in several states and by several area law enforcement agencies for numerous fraud cases and investigations. The suspect is now in custody.

Deputies on Thursday contacted 22-year-old Adam Arrambide at the intersection of US Highway 101 and NE Holmes Road in Lincoln City. Deputies located a digital scale and several small plastic baggies used to package Methamphetamine, and two plastic baggies containing Methamphetamine.

Two Survive Plane Crash Into Columbia River

(BONNEVILLE DAM, Ore.) - Two people survived a plane crash into the Columbia River east of Beacon Rock on Sunday.

Skamania County Dispatch says that the pilot and a passenger on board the single engine Cessna swam to shore. The two are receiving medical attention, but their condition is not known at this time.

After Successful Spacewalk, Shuttle’s Heat Shield Cleared for Landing

(HOUSTON) - Discovery Mission Specialist Scott Parazynski and Expedition 16 Flight Engineer Daniel Tani successfully completed the second spacewalk of the STS-120 mission at 12:05 PM EDT Sunday.

Parazynski and Tani completed preparations for the relocation of the P6 truss segment early in the spacewalk. Mission Specialists Stephanie Wilson and Doug Wheelock used the station robotic arm to remove the P6.

Police Searching for Driver Who Rammed Police Cars

The officers were not injured in the incident.

(FOREST GROVE, Ore. ) - Police in Forest Grove are looking for the driver of a 2004 Nissan Exterra, who rammed two police cars early Saturday morning.

Police say that officers tried to stop a suspected drunk driver around 2:00 AM, but the driver took off, and a short pursuit ensued.
