Father, Son Killed British Columbia Plane Crash

The plane was en route from Salem to Springbank, Alberta.

(INVERMERE, British Columbia) - A father and son, along with a pilot, were killed Friday night, after the small plane they were flying in crashed in Canada’s western province of British Columbia.

A family spokesperson says 37-year-old David Wood, his father, William Wood, both from Calgary, and the pilot, 69-year-old Ronald Bullen, were returning to Springbank, Alberta from Salem, Oregon after David finished his final exam from the Board of Architecture at the University of Oregon.

Salem Man Arrested After Sexual Attack

Luckily some nearby residents witnessed the attack and went to the woman's aid, and held the suspect until police arrived.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - A 37-year-old Salem man was arrested Saturday in connection with a sexual attack on a 22-year-old woman.

Salem police say the incident occurred just before 1:00 AM at the intersection of Liberty and Boone road South. The man, identified as Paul Landingham, dragged the woman into some bushes and attacked her.

Two Seriously Injured in Crash Near Woodburn

Oregon State Police troopers investigating the crash indicate alcohol may have been a contributing factor.

Man Tries to Grab Two Girls Near Aloha School

The man is described as a white male in his late 40's or early 50's, with shoulder length gray hair, unshaven, and wearing a white shirt and dark jeans.

(ALOHA, Ore. ) - Deputies were called to Aloha Huber Park School on SW 173rd Avenue in Aloha for an attempted kidnapping call Saturday.

Investigators say four girls, ages 6, 10, 10, and 16, were walking home after playing at the school when a man on a bicycle tried to grab at the 16-year-old and one of the 10-year-old girls as he rode by.
