Two Vehicle Crash Sends One to Hospital

Salem Police is conducting an investigation of the accident.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - salem fire photo The Salem Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident located at the intersection of Cottage Street NE and Court Street NE on Tuesday at 8:53 AM.

First arriving firefighter/paramedics discovered a Lincoln Town car and a Chevrolet Pickup had collided.

The driver of the Lincoln Town car, a 55-year old male had to be extricated by firefighter/paramedics and was transported to Salem Hospital in serious condition.

Update: Stabbing in SE Salem Injures Two Twin Brothers

Police at the scene say the two brothers had some mental illnesses and had stopped taking their medications.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Browning incident photo A fight between two Salem brothers led to a stabbing this morning at 618 Browning Ave SE.

Witnesses at the scene said one of the brothers was found by police around 11:30 AM on the ground with multiple stab wounds. The other brother was found inside the home and was brought out with blood all over him.

Statements taken at the scene indicated the fight between the twin brothers lasted about 10 minutes.

Police Need Help Identifying Washington County ID Thief

The suspect is a white adult male with short dark hair and a distinctive tattoo on the inside right forearm area near the elbow.

(BEAVERTON, Ore. ) - osp news photo Oregon State Police are asking for the public's help to identify a May 2007 identity theft suspect who used stolen credit cards at numerous locations in Banks, Hillsboro and Beaverton areas.

On May 13th, a Tillamook-area couple had their vehicle broken into between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM while parked at Kings Mountain Trailhead on Highway 6, the Wilson River highway, about 27 miles east of Tillamook.

Stolen credit cards were used shortly after car break-in and theft.

Police Arrest Father After Leaving Infant Sons Abandoned in Vehicle

The location of the mother is still unknown.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - mcso office photo Just after 1:00 AM this morning, the Marion County Sheriff's Office responded to the 4900 block of Mink Ct. NE in Salem, Oregon regarding two small children that were found sleeping in a vehicle with no adult supervision by a neighbor.

Theresa Ford, a grandparent of the children has been located and their identities have been confirmed.

The children have been in the custody of their father for the past month.

Police found the children's father, 33-year-old Blaine Danley, of Salem sleeping inside an SUV on Trapper Dr NE.

Defendant Beats Murder Conviction in Oregon DUII Case

The charges stem from a crash in December 2005, on Highway 18 near Booth Bend Road in the City of McMinnville.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Yamhill County Courthouse in McMinnville 25-year old Thomas Nolan Jackson was convicted by a Yamhhill County jury today of First-Degree Manslaughter, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Reckless Driving by a Yamhill County Jury.

The jury stated that it was “hopelessly deadlocked” on the charge of Murder and now joins the list of other futile attempts by prosecutors to convict a defendant of Murder for crimes related to driving while intoxicated.

Investigation Into Salem Stabbing Continues

(SALEM, Ore.) - 29-year old David Gonzalez-Jimenez Salem Police say they received numerous reports of several people fighting at the Hyacinth Square Apartments located at 2530 Hyacinth St NE early Monday morning.

Police Spokesman Dave Okada says responding units found 29-year old David Gonzalez-Jimenez, suffering from at least two stab wounds to the back.

The investigation revealed that Gonzalez-Jimenez and a friend had gone to the apartment complex to see somebody they knew when an altercation began with several other subjects.

Crash Claims Life of 8-Year Old Girl Near Nyssa

Police say the driver's 8-year old daughter was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

(NYSSA, Ore.) - Photo of crash scene near Nyssa: Oregon State Police A Nyssa-area man was arrested Sunday afternoon on Manslaughter and DUII charges following a single vehicle traffic crash that resulted in the death of his daughter on Highway 201 about one mile south of Nyssa.

Investigators say that Sunday at approximately 3:15 PM a 2000 Cadillac Escalade driven by 31-year old Daniel Cabello DeLeon of Nyssa, was soutbhound on Highway 201 when it lost control and rolled.
