Hikers Risk Own Lives to Save Dog Missing for 22 Days

After calling police, the family went back to stay with the dog which was in a location with steep terrain, and with no easy way out.

(LEBANON, Ore.) - Madison A Scio, Oregon couple is happy to have their family dog back home again after 22 days, thanks to a family out on a hike and the Linn County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue volunteers.

The Linn County Sheriff's office received a call on Saturday night around 7:45 p.m., of a possible lost hiker in the Cascadia area, just east of Lebanon.

Portland Police Asking for Public`s Help in Finding Missing Man

Anyone seeing Devin Gordon Singh is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Devin Gordon Singh The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help locating 30-year-old Devin Gordon Singh, missing since Sunday.

Singh is described as a male Indian, 6'1" tall, 170 pounds, brown hair with long dreads, hazel eyes, facial hair, a tattoo of "DTD" on the left side of his neck and an Indian symbol on his right interior forearm.

Police Need Help Locating Armed Suspect NE of Salem

At this point, deputies believe when the man fled he may have been armed with a shotgun.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Marion County Sheriff The Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who stole a vehicle from home around 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

Marion County Sheriff's spokesman Sergeant Chris Baldridge says residents near Seminole Road NE and Mustang Road NE interrupted a burglary of their residence.

Arrangements have been made for a prayer service at a Newberg church on Tuesday. The community is invited to the service to be held at Hillside Church, 611 N Main Street, in Newberg at 7:00 p.m.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Missing Oregon Mother Family and friends of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston are still searching near and far both on the ground and on social media to try and locate an Oregon mother of two who vanished without a trace on Thursday after she left the families home to run errands.

As Salem-News.com was first to report, the family posted Sunday on the Find Jennifer Huston Facebook page, that they are offering a reward for information that bring Jennifer back home.

As Gaza Death Toll Tops 1,000, UN Calls for Immediate Cease-Fire

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed the call by Hamas for a cease-fire, saying the group violated its own call for a brief stoppage in violence.

(GAZA CITY) - Gaza Bombings With more than 1,000 people killed in the Israel-Hamas conflict, the U.N. Security Council held an emergency meeting in New York early Monday and announced "strong support for an immediate and unconditional humanitarian cease-fire" in Gaza.

The call for a cease-fire came after Hamas and Israel began firing again at each other Sunday after a temporary cease-fire failed.

A reward is now being offered for the information leading to the safe return of Jennifer Huston.

(DUNDEE, Ore. ) - Jennifer Huston Police and family members are searching near and far for an Dundee, Oregon mother of two boys who was last seen at a gas station on Thursday.

Family members have started a Facebook page in hopes someone will see 38-year-old Jennifer Huston, and are posting flyers around the Willamette Valley, and along the Oregon Coast, hoping to locate her or her vehicle, a 1999 dark green Lexus 470, Oregon license plate WXH 011.

Salem Armed Stand-Off Ends With Suspect in Custody (VIDEO)

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem-News.com Salem Police officers along with the Salem Police SWAT team and negotiators, were able to take a wanted man into custody Sunday after he barricaded himself inside a home.

Salem police were called just before 8:00 a.m. to the 3200 block of River Road N, on a report that a subject wanted on several Domestic Violence charges and a Parole Violation warrant was in the area.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - BREAKING NEWS ALERT Salem-News.com has learned that Oregon State Police and other agencies are trying to capture what they believe to be a suicidal man in the area of Deer Park Drive SE just east of Salem.

Police on scene tell Salem-News.com that the man has attempted to jump into traffic on Highway 22 near the Deer Park Drive exit.
