(SALEM, Ore.) - In this video segment, noted medical marijuana physician Dr. Phillip Leveque discusses a number of questions sent in by our viewers via email and comments left on the actual stories.

It is an interesting time in the United States when it comes to medical marijuana. Experts like Leveque are tasked with not just educating patients about the benefits of this legal, natural herb, he also has to combat lies that are currently being circulated by police and prosecutors who see the persecution of sick people as a priority.

Regardless of how many voters around the nation say yes to medical marijuana, the federal government maintains that it is illegal with no exceptions, therefore ignoring the wishes of the actual people.

On that subject, one topic covered covered in this week's segment is a Salem, Oregon grand jury's refusal to indict a Keizer, Oregon man who Keizer Police say violated the law by attempting to make hash out of his homegrown marijuana. Anthony Beasley was arrested after the PVC tubes used to make the hash oil were misidentified by a former roommate as a pair of pipe bombs.

This became an extremely heated and emotional local story, and it happened while a twice failed Oregon candidate for Governor, Kevin Mannix, renewed his personal efforts to undermine the wishes of Oregon voters by ending the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

Police and prosecutors were blasted by our reporters for what was perceived as a miscarriage of justice and a misuse of taxpayer funds. The police said the case was "winnable" but instead last week they were shot down by a Grand jury of the peers of the accused.

Marijuana is legal for medical purposes in several U.S. states. Dr. Leveque is here to give advice for patients who find few doctors with the courage to adequately address this aspect of medical care.

The patient's questions featured in this installment include asthma, endometriosis and chronic pain from the adhesions.

Dr. Leveque and Bonnie also discuss options for a Texas man who is 100% disabled through the Veterans Administration.

Editor: If I publish the transcript from the video Google will not take it, they deem it too long. I will try to get it published and post the link to it on this story. I'm sorry, I want everyone to have the information, thanks.
