(PULLMAN, Wash.) - Casey Nash poured in a career high 28 points during her final regular season game as the Oregon State women’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a 66-61 victory over Washington State at Beasley Coliseum.
OSU (9-18, 4-14 Pac-10) trailed for much of the game, only regaining the lead 57-56 with 2:45 left in the game.
Coming out of a timeout, WSU hit one of two free throws to tie the game before Julie Futch hit a lay-in to give OSU a 59-57 lead.

(SAN DIEGO) - The Portland Pilots led a majority of the game before dropping an 82-76 West Coast Conference game to the San Diego Toreros Saturday evening at Jenny Craig Pavilion.
Junior Sherrard Watson matched a career-high with 21 points to lead the Pilots, while senior Nir Cohen led all scorers with 23 points for the Toreros.
The Toreros (16-12, 6-7 WCC) took their first lead of the second half on a three-pointer by senior guard Ross DeRogatis with 7:21 remaining.

(PORTLAND) - A dominant Deonte Huff led the Portland State Vikings to a 70-63 Big Sky Conference win over the Idaho State Bengals and, ultimately, the Big Sky Tournament.
Huff, a 6-4 guard, posted 18 points and a career-high 18 rebounds in the win as the Viking clinched a postseason berth.
Things looked bad early as the Vikings fell behind 26-12 in the first eight minutes.

(POCATELLO, Idaho ) - Junior guard Andrea Lightfoot’s three-pointer at the buzzer lifted Idaho State to a wild 91-90 win over Portland State in a Big Sky Conference game Saturday afternoon at Reed Gym.
With the win, Idaho State evened its record at 13-13 overall, including 9-5 in the Big Sky.
The Vikings still hold a two-game lead over Eastern Washington for the sixth and final spot to the Big Sky Tournament.

(ELLENSBURG, Wash.) - Central Washington controlled the backboards and shut down Western Oregon early in the second half to cruise to a 78-57 women’s basketball win on Saturday night at the Nicholson Pavilion in Ellensburg.
The Wildcats held WOU to just two points in the first eight minutes of the second half, outscoring the Wolves 17-2 in the opening moments after intermission.
Western Oregon fell to 3-22 on the year and is now 2-12 in the GNAC.

(NEWBERG) - Junior forward Katy Campbell was named Player of the Year and head coach Scott Rueck won Coach of the Year honors, highlighting the selection of four George Fox University Bruins to the 2006-07 All-Northwest Conference women’s basketball teams as voted on by the league’s nine coaches.
Joining Campbell and Rueck on the All-Conference squads were senior wing Robin Taylor, a First Team choice, and junior center Melissa Marek-Farris, who was named to the Second Team.
All were key components of a George Fox team that is 17-6 overall, won the conference co-championship with a 13-3 record.

(SALEM) - Corban's women's basketball team earned the second Cascade Collegiate Conference berth to the NAIA D-II national tournament thanks to Friday nights win over Albertson College of Idaho, 76-64, and extended its overall winning streak to ten games which is one shy of the school record.
With Eastern Oregon University's win tonight over Oregon Institute of Technology, 53-34, the Warriors will go head-to-head with the Mountaineers in the conference tournament championship game with each team heading to Sioux City, Iowa.

The Beavers shutout Penn State, 5-0, before dropping a 2-0 decision to No. 7 ranked Northwestern.
The Beavers (7-3) got on the scoreboard early against Penn State, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning when DeAnn Young drew a bases loaded walk.

Linfield dropped its second straight game of the tournament after a 3-1 start.
Jamie McGraw and Ryan Heil both went 3 for 5 to pace the Warriors, who boosted their season record to 4-5.
