Coyotes Win Third Straight, Stop Corban, 95-87

The Warriors are at Eastern Oregon Saturday night.

(CALDWELL, Idaho) - Five Albertson College players scored in double figures, as the No. 9 ranked Coyotes defeated Corban College, 95-87, Friday night in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Yotes (14-3 overall, 8-2 CCC), who trailed 16-8 early in the game, used a 16-2 run to close the opening half to take a 51-38 to the locker room.

The Warriors (2-19 overall, 1-9 CCC) were led by Ontario native Wade Douglas, who scored a career high 32 points.

Corban Women Crush No. 25 Albertson, 101-88

The Warriors face Eastern Oregon Saturday night.

(CALDWELL, Idaho) - Jessi Norton scored 24 points and Corban College hit 65-percent of their field goal attempts, as the Warriors recorded the most points every by a women's team in J.A. Albertson Activities Center history, topping Albertson College, 101-88 Friday night.

The Warriors (16-5 overall, 8-2 CCC) recorded their sixth-straight win and tallied their most points since scoring 103 points against Walla Walla College in 2002.

The 189 combined points were also a facility record, topping an ACI 97-90 win over Concordia in 1996.

University of Oregon 2007 Football Schedule Complete

The Ducks will play seven home games in 2007.

(EUGENE) - The University of Oregon will take part in one of two Thursday night Pacific-10 Conference match-ups during the 2007 football season that is part of the league’s new television contract that encompasses ESPN as one of its primary TV partners, according to an announcement Friday by the Pac-10 office.

Oregon’s game at Arizona, which was previously scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10th, in Tucson, Ariz., has been shifted to Thursday, Nov. 15th, with the start time scheduled for 6:00 PM PST.

To help accommodate the change, the Ducks’ game at UCLA which was previously slated for Nov. 17th will be switched to Saturday, Nov. 24th.

Oregon State's 2007 Pac-10 Football Schedule Announced

The three-game 2007 non-conference schedule and season ticket information will be announced in the near future.

(CORVALLIS) - The Pacific-10 Conference announced the 2007 tentative football schedule Friday, and while Oregon State officials put the final touches on the non-conference slate, an ambitious league adventure awaits the Beavers.

Oregon State, coming of a 10-4 season and a 39-38 victory over Missouri in the Brut Sun Bowl, will open conference action Sept. 22nd at Arizona State University.

The game will feature another match-up between the two most recent OSU coaches, current mentor Mike Riley and former head coach and first-year Sun Devil leader Dennis Erickson.

Beavers Cruise Past Idaho

The Beavers finish the weekend Saturday at 11:00 A.M. when they host Washington State.

(CORVALLIS) - The Oregon State swim team began the weekend by defeating the University of Idaho 117-75.

The Beavers (7-7 overall, 0-5 Pac-10 Conference) led from start to finish as they won each of the ten events swam competitively.

The relay team of Brittney Iverson, Felicia Castaneda, Kayla Rawlings, and Anna Crandall began the evening by swimming the Beavers to victory in the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:55.91).

Braun Racing Expands to Three-Car Operation After Aligning with Two NASCAR Busch Series Teams

The 2007 NASCAR Busch Series season kicks off Feb. 17th at Daytona International Speedway.

(MOORESVILLE, N.C.) - Braun Racing has announced the alliance of its organization with two long-standing NASCAR Busch Series teams, Biagi Bros. Racing and ppc Racing.

As a result of the partnership, Braun Racing will field three NASCAR Busch Series Toyota Camry entries in the 2007 season.

Jason Leffler (No. 38) and Dave Blaney (No. 32) will be joined by John Andretti who will drive the No. 10 Toyota Camry during the 2007 season.

Ward Burton to Drive For Brewco, Kleenex® Racing in 2007

The driver of the remaining 2007 races in the No. 27 Kleenex® Ford will be named in the coming weeks

(CENTRAL CITY, KY) - Brewco Motorsports Inc. announced this week that 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton will drive the No. 27 Kleenex® Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2007.

Burton will drive 20 races for Brewco and Kleenex® Racing, beginning with the Daytona 300 on February 17th at Daytona International Speedway.

Burton's Busch Series career spans nine years and 145 races.

Bears Take a Bite Out of The Beavers, 77-74

Oregon State’s games can be heard live on the radio on KEX 1190 AM in Portland/Salem and KEJO 1240 in Corvallis/Albany.

(CORVALLIS) - Marcel Jones 29 points wasn't enough for the Beavers as they dropped a heartbreaker 77-74 over the California Golden Bears Thursday night at Gill Coliseum.

Ryan Anderson and Ayinde Ubaka each had 22 points to lead the Bears (12-6 overall, 4-2 Pac-10).

Up next for the Beavers is Stanford who lost Thursday night in Eugene to the Ducks, 66-59.

No. 9 Stanford Routs Shorthanded Ducks, 70-48

Oregon’s Carolyn Ganes and Eleanor Haring paced the Ducks with 15 points each.

(STANFORD, Calif.) - In their first game since learning senior post Jessie Shetters would likely be sidelined for six weeks with a stress fracture, the Oregon Ducks were outgunned by No. 9 Stanford 70-48 on Thursday night at Maples Pavilion.

The Ducks (10-7, 2-5 Pac-10), to their credit, ended the game on a 13-0 run and held the Cardinal (15-3, 8-0) without a point for the final 4:46.

Prior to that late surge, however, Stanford showed why it’s the class of the conference.
