(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Pizza Shooting Two people have been taken to Salem Hospital after multiple shots were fired after an altercation Wednesday night in northeast Salem.

Salem-News.com was on scene shortly after the shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the parking lot on the south side of the Rock Wood Fired Pizza and Spirits restaurant located at 3610 Center St NE, witnesses said.

Salem Pursuit Ends in Rollover Crash

Marion County Fire District #1 personnel responded to the scene and extricated the driver, 33-year-old Brian Wilson, and passenger 30-year-old Perla Gomez Lazo, from Salem.

Three Years Later, Rescue Crews Reunited with Girl who Nearly Drowned

On social media, the victim's mother reached out to the live saving members of MCFD #1 to say thank you.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Marion County Fire District Marion County Fire District #1 Firefighters and Paramedics were reunited on Thursday with a near drowning victim.

Three years ago MCFD #1 responded to a reported drowning incident on Cordon road, when they arrived they found a toddler that had just been pulled from a swimming pool by her grandmother.

Salem Mourns the Deaths of 3 Teens in Less than a Month

Back on July 7, just three days after his birthday, 14-year-old Sean Kaleopa drowned while swimming at the Three Pools Recreation area.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Mill Creek Salem Oregon Salem family, friends, and the community as a whole, have had to endure the tragic deaths of three teenagers from Salem in less than a month, and two, just days apart.

On Sunday, 16-year-old North Salem High School student Matthew Tufts drowned after jumping into Mill Creek, and on Saturday, 19-year-old Marina Toran of Salem was a passenger in a vehicle that fell down a 100 foot embankment and ended up in the Molalla River.

Woman, Boyfriend, and Dog Rescued After Fall in Rural Marion County

"We just ask that people stay on the regular groomed trails," said Sergeant Shane Burnham with the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

(MILL CITY, Ore. ) - Oregon Army National Guard Rescue crews spent two hours Saturday afternoon saving three hikers in the Opal Creek Wilderness, one of which sustained serious injuries and had to be airlifted out of the area, and was taken Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland.

Marion County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sergeant Chris Baldridge says around 3:00 p.m., deputies were flagged down and rushed to the scene where a hiker who had fallen thirty feet after her rope broke. The trio was making their way down to a pool of water on a steep decline.

Police Need Help Locating Armed Suspect NE of Salem

At this point, deputies believe when the man fled he may have been armed with a shotgun.

UPDATE: Albany Man Dead After Canoe Flips on North Santiam River

A woman who was also in the canoe when it turned over and got stuck in a log jam, was not injured.

(JEFFERSON, Ore. ) - salem news Tragedy struck Saturday afternoon on the North Santiam River near Greens Bridge just south of Jefferson, Ore.

Jefferson, Albany, Linn, Benton, and Marion county rescue crews were called to the area where the river bends with the South Santiam River around 2:00 p.m. on the call of a missing person after a canoe flipped over.
