Salem Police Locate Parents of Girl

Salem Police have located the family of the 4-year old girl that was found last night. Investigators are with them at this time and further details will be released as they become available.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The Salem Police Department is searching for the parents of a 3-4 year old girl that was found wandering around in the area of Roselawn Dr NE and Burlington St NE at about 6:45 p.m. on March 18th.

Officers responded to the area on a report of a small child that was wandering around the streets in the area, according to Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada.

Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney, John Wentworth, says Clackamas Deputy Brian Lister and Deputy Jesse Ashby, were cleared of any criminal wrong doing in the fatal shooting of 68-year old Hubert Henkel.
