Child Missing Since Early 2004 Recovered by Oregon Deputies

Information on the missing girl had been posted on the National Missing and Exploited Children's Website.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Child and adult holding hands image A missing six-year old child who had been listed on the National Missing and Exploited Children's Website was recovered yesterday by Washington County Sheriff's Detectives.

Sgt. David Thompson, spokesman with the sheriff's office, says they took custody of six-year old Kaylee Faith Dale who had been listed on the website since January of 2004.

Salem Police Arrest 13-Year Old for Murder of Infant

Rosita Carbajal will most likely be arraigned sometime today at the Marion County Juvenile Court.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Death investigation Salem Police detictives arrested a 13-year-old last night, for the murder of her 16 month-old niece.

Courtland Geyer with the Marion County District Attorney's Office says relatives brought the small child, Ruby Navarro-Carbajal, to the Salem Hospital. Ruby was not breathing and was later pronounced dead.

U.S. Foreclosures Up 112 Percent Over 2007

One in every 30 Stockton, California households received a foreclosure filing during the quarter — 6.6 times the national average.

(IRVINE, Calif. ) - Foreclosure home RealtyTrac today released its Q1 2008 U.S. Foreclosure Market Report, which shows foreclosure filings — default notices, auction sale notices and bank repossessions — were reported on 649,917 properties during the first quarter, a 23 percent increase from the previous quarter and a 112 percent increase from the first quarter of 2007.

The report also shows that one in every 194 U.S. households received a foreclosure filing during the quarter. Foreclosure activity in the first quarter increased on a year-over-year basis in 46 out of the 50 states and in 90 of the nation’s 100 largest metro areas.

Since the removal 3 other children were treated at hospitals and released. 31 of the 53 girls between the ages of 14 and 17 are mothers of children, pregnant, or both. This group includes many girls who previously claimed to be adults.
