Ron Jaworski will join Mike Tirico and Tony Kornheiser on the ESPN telecast.
Jaworski replaces Joe Theismann, who has been offered a prominent football analyst job with the network.

(SALEM) - Four Willamette University pitchers combined to limit Whitworth College to five hits, as the Bearcats defeated the Pirates, 2-1, in Northwest Conference baseball action on Monday, at John Lewis Field.
With the victory, Willamette improves to 10-11 overall and 4-7 in NWC action. Whitworth falls to 7-14 overall, 5-7 in the NWC.

(PORTLAND) - In what has become an annual spring soccer showcase, the University of Portland will host two high-profile soccer events at Merlo Field and the Clive Charles Soccer Complex again in 2007.
The men’s team will host the Portland Timbers on Friday, April 13th at 7:00 PM, while the women’s team will host the Canadian National Team, including former Pilot star Christine Sinclair, on Friday, April 20th at 7:00 PM.
There will be many familiar faces from the opposing teams in both matches. The Timbers have two former Pilots currently on roster in the form of Andrew Gregor and Garrett Marcum.

Chisholm currently serves as associate athletic director for development and marketing at University of California, Irvine, where he has been since September 2000.
While at UC Irvine, Chisholm increased fundraising by 200 percent and sponsorships by 150 percent, helping to secure major gifts that led to the construction of a Sports Medicine Center and the second phase of Anteater Ballpark. Read Full Article

Daniel Turpen, Blake Keitzman and Jorge Reyes combined to pitch a six-hitter for the Beavers (23-3 overall), who allowed just three runs and 14 hits in the three-game sweep of the Mustangs (13-16).
Earlier Monday, OSU moved up two places to No. 2 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll.

(EUGENE) - If Kevin Durant and Greg Oden play only one season of college basketball, it will have been as All-Americans.
On the other hand, Oregon's Aaron Brooks represented the senior class well.
Brooks, the Pac-10's scoring leader at 17.7 points per game, became the Ducks' first All-American since Luke Jackson in 2004.

Junior Victoria Wenslow weathered a prototypical spring day that featured bouts of sun, wind and rain and temperatures in the mid to low 50s.
The Bunkeflostrand, Sweden native posted UO’s low score of the day and was tied for eighth overall (76-78-154) but played as an individual since she missed the team’s practice qualifying round last week.

The senior from Aiea, Hawaii, holds a one-shot lead on UCLA’s Kevin Chappell and Jamie Lovemark of USC heading into Tuesday’s final round, which will start at 8:00 AM.
Monday, as players competed in chilly conditions with intermittent showers and temperatures in the upper 40s at the par-72, 7,033-yard Eugene Country Club, No. 6 USC took the 36-hole lead by shooting rounds of 282-295 for a 577 total.

(CHAPEL HILL, N.C. ) - Jason Kendall Ray, 21, died Monday morning at Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center.
Ray, a senior at the University of North Carolina, was a member of UNC's cheerleading squad and was injured in a pedestrian/vehicle accident in Fort Lee, N.J., on Friday, March 23rd.
Ray was in New Jersey to perform as the Tar Heels' mascot, Rameses, in the NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional in East Rutherford, N.J., on Friday and Sunday. Read Full Article
