(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Marty Hunter, a veteran coach with experience at the high school, college, and professional levels, has been promoted from associate head coach to head coach of the George Fox University baseball program, director of athletics Craig Taylor announced Wednesday.
He replaces Pat Bailey who was named assistant coach at two-time defending NCAA Division I national champion Oregon State University, where he joins another former George Fox baseball coach, Pat Casey.

The 3-2 decision puts the Volcanoes' record at 24-5, while the Dust Devils fall to 10-19.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Portland Winter Hawks Director of Hockey Operations Jim Goldsmith has announced that Coach Mike Williamson’s contract will not be renewed with the team.
Williamson, 34, was head coach in Portland for seven full seasons, taking over for Harold Snepsts, who resigned on February 3, 2000.
In his first full season as head coach in 2000-01, Williamson earned Western Conference Coach of the Year honors after Portland jumped 43 points in the standings.

Outlaw, 22, was originally selected by the Trail Blazers with the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft.
The four-year pro from Starkville H.S. (Miss.) holds career averages of 6.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 203 games with the Trail Blazers.
