(EUGENE) - The #4 seeded Northwest Christian College men’s basketball let a 15-point halftime lead dissolve to a two-point edge with just 54 second remaining, but senior Point Guard Jordan Humphreys scored seven unanswered points, including five at the free-throw line to seal a 57-55 victory over Johnson & Wales College in the first round of the USCAA National Championship Tournament.
The Beacons dominated the early part of the game and shot a collective 56.5% in the first half to set the precedent.

(LOS ANGELES) - Oregon coach Ernie Kent received a pleasant surprise Thursday. The tight game he expected with Arizona didn't happen.
Tajuan Porter and Aaron Brooks burned Arizona with their long-range shooting, combining for nine 3-pointers, and the 16th-ranked Ducks beat the Wildcats 69-50 in the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 tournament.

(HONOLULU) - Mia Longfellow’s two-out 3-run seventh inning walk-off home run lifted the No. 14 ranked Oregon State softball team to a 3-2 victory over Pacific in Wednesday’s second game of the Hawaiian Airlines Spring Fling Tournament.
Longfellow sent the game-winning shot lofting over the 200-foot marker in right field.
The home run was the third of the season for the senior shortstop and couldn’t have come at a more opportune time.

The eighth-seeded Golden Bears (15-16) advanced to play No. 1 seed UCLA (26-4) in Thursday's quarterfinals - a rematch of last year's title game, won by the Bruins on their way to a runner-up finish in the national championship game.
Marcel Jones led the Beavers (11-21) with 21 points, their only player in double figures.

Lewis & Clark began the game with four runs in the first inning off freshman starter Eric Fry, as the right-hander allowed four runs (all earned) on four hits, including the game's lone home run -- a 2-run shot to right field by the Pioneers' Mike Giardina.

(SAN JOSE) - Pontiac has recognized the Oregon State women’s basketball team’s dramatic comeback victory over the Washington State Cougars on Feb. 24th as the Game-Changing Performance of the Year in the Pac-10 Conference this season.
OSU received a $1,000 check from Pontiac to be used for its general scholarship fund, for being nominated as one of six "performances of the year" and was then awarded another $10,000 for the scholarship fund at Monday night's State Farm Pac-10 Tournament after fans voted it the conference’s “performance of the year.”
