(MONMOUTH) - 6-2 sophomore post Rebecca Kielpinski had 19 second-half points and 26 in the game to lead Alaska Anchorage to an 85-73 women’s basketball win over Western Oregon on Saturday night at the Physical Education Building.
The victory kept the Seawolves title hopes alive, as they finished the regular season with a 11-5 record in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, one game behind conference leader Seattle Pacific.

(EUGENE) - Bryce Taylor scored 22 and Aaron Brooks added 18 to lead No. 17 Oregon to a 70-49 victory against Oregon State on Saturday.
The Ducks (23-7, 11-7 Pac-10) won their final three games of the regular season and have won 14 straight against the Beavers (11-20, 3-15) at McArthur Court.
Oregon will go into next week's Pac-10 tournament as the fourth seed and will play Arizona.

In the first game, Linfield's Rochelle Friend scored on shortstop Meredith Brunette's sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to provide the winning run.
In the second game, Willamette scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

(PORTLAND) - Portland State sophomore forward Kelsey Kahle and Northern Colorado senior forward Heather Barbour both reached 1,000 career points, however, it was the Vikings that also came away with a win, defeating the Bears 77-63 in a Big Sky Conference game Saturday afternoon at the Peter W. Stott Center.
The game was also the regular-season finale for both schools.
With the win, Portland State improves to 12-17 overall and finished 8-8 in the Big Sky, marking the Vikings’ best conference mark since going 9-7 in 2002-03.

Portland improves to 5-4 on the year while UC-Davis falls to 4-9.
Kutz (1-2) was masterful in nine innings, scattering eight hits and striking out five while allowing only two runs en route to the win.

(COLLEGE STATION, Texas) - Drew George went 4-for-5 with a double, one run batted in, two runs scored and a stolen base for Oregon State as the 15th-ranked Beavers beat New Mexico 6-2 on Saturday afternoon at Olsen Field on the second day of the Domino’s Pizza Aggie Baseball Classic.
Mike Stutes pitched into the seventh inning to earn the win for OSU (12-3 overall).
Against New Mexico (6-10), the Beavers came up with 12 hits -- a significant improvement from their five in Friday night’s loss to Texas A&M -- but still left 13 runners on base.

(SAN JOSE) - Devanei Hampton had 21 points and nine rebounds and No. 25 California moved into the Pac-10 tournament semifinals with a 63-51 victory against Oregon on Saturday.
With the win, the Golden Bears (23-7) matched their second-most victories in a season -- trailing only the 24 by the 1983-84 team.
Hampton, named conference player of the year on Thursday, shot 9-for-16, Natasha Vital scored 16 points and Ashley Walker added 12 points, 10 rebounds and three assists for Cal.
