The Sun Devils (16-2, 6-1 Pac-10) eventually wore down the Ducks (10-6, 2-4) in the physical matchup, prevailing 80-70 in front of a season-high 3,353 fans at McArthur Court.

Free throws proved to be a big key for ASU, which went to the line 45 times, converting 34.
