The Bearcats need to pounce early on the Wildcats who are coming into the game well rested after a week off.
No. 20 Linfield (0-2 overall, 0-0 NWC) is having what some would call an off year.

Ray Macias chipped in two goals and rookie forward Jussi Puustinen from Finland recorded three assists for the Blazers. Reid Jorgensen had the other goal for the Blazers.
Portland got goals from defensemen Michael Sauer and Cameron Cepek as well as 19 year old forward Frazer McLaren.

Willamette took third place as a team with a score of 314, as the Bearcats trailed Linfield College (290) and Pacific (311), while finishing in front of Lewis & Clark College (343).

Seattle improved to 8-1-1 on the season with the win and to 3-0-0 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Western Oregon is now 4-5-2 and 0-3-1 in league play.

Willamette, ranked #18 in the NCAA Division III Poll conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), remained undefeated at 7-0-1 overall, 4-0 in the NWC. Puget Sound, ranked #3 in Division III, fell to 5-1-1 on the season, 3-1 in the NWC.

OSU outshot Army (4-6-0) 14-7 and led in corner kicks 2-1.

Linfield’s Allison Cartmill made 14 saves overall, and was under siege most of the second half, when she made eight.
Whitman’s Erica Goad made 10 saves.
(McMINNVILLE) - Despite being a player down for 51 minutes in 80-degree sun, Linfield tied Whitman 0-0 in two overtimes Sunday in Northwest Conference women’s soccer.
Linfield, which has not won a conference game since the middle of last season, is 0-2-2 in the Northwest Conference and 2-4-2 overall. Whitman is 1-2-1 in the NWC and 1-3-1 overall.
