(BOISE, Idaho) - The Salem-Keizer Vocanoes completed a sweep of the Boise Hawks Saturday night with a come-from behind 9-4 victory.
Sean Van Eldren had three hits for the Volcanoes including key hits in the 7th inning when the Volcanoes erased a four run deficit with a three run rally.
Chad Rathford sparked a three run rally in the eighth inning with a home run to put the game away for Salem-Keizer.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State University junior offensive guard Jeremy Perry has been selected to the Street & Smith’s preseason All-America Team.
The publication also selected senior guard Roy Schuening and senior placekicker Alexis Serna to its third team All-America squad.
Perry has started 23 career games for the Beavers, but missed last December’s Sun Bowl after suffering a knee injury near the end of the team’s 35-32 win at No. 24 Hawaii. Read Full Article

(SPOKANE, Wash. ) - It was a packed house of 7,053 at Avista Stadium, but the Spokane Indians just couldn’t hold on in extra innings and dropped a tight 5-3 contest to the visiting Eugene Emeralds.

McMurray edged out Robby Gordon by .012 of a second for the top spot and Dale Earnhardt Jr., got his best-ever starting position at Infineon.

(BOISE, Idaho) - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes scored five runs in the second inning on Friday night and, behind a strong pitching performance by T.J. , Brewer and two relievers, shut out the Boise Hawks, 8-0.
Volcanoes right fielder Sean VanEldren continued his strong series with a key 2-run double in the second inning when Salem-Keizer scored five times off Boise starter Andrew McCormick.
Left fielder Garrett Baker had three hits including a second inning double and a lost-in-the-lights triple in the ninth inning. Read Full Article

(OMAHA, Neb.) - Now it’s guaranteed - Oregon State will play in both the very first and very last games of the 2007 college baseball season.
The Beavers opened defense of their 2006 national championship on Jan. 25 at Hawaii-Hilo, starting their centennial season of varsity baseball a day ahead of the rest of the nation.
Now, five months later, OSU will be playing in the College World Series championship finals against North Carolina.

(SPOKANE, Wash.) - The Spokane Indians picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 defensive gem over the Eugene Emeralds, largely powered by Spokane first baseman Renny Osuna’s first professional home run in two seasons of professional baseball.
Osuna finished the game 3-4 with three RBIs.
Jacob Brigham went five innings, giving up only two hits with four strikeouts and picked up the win for Spokane.
