(MILWAUKEE) - The long-standing "battle of the beer cars" on NASCAR tracks could take on added significance during the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup season if Anheuser-Busch is feeling confident about the performance of the #8 Budweiser team.
Miller Lite has announced its 2007 NASCAR challenge to Budweiser, this time putting naming rights to Miller Park on the line for a weekend series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The signees include Anna Edmonds from South Salem High School.
Edmonds, a forward, spent 10 years with the Cascade FC “Tempest” in Salem, and had over 100 goals and 50 assists in her career.

(CORVALLIS) - The Oregon State men’s basketball team (10-16, 2-11 Pac-10), coming off a sweep of the season series against Arizona State, travels to Northern California this weekend for games at Stanford and California.
OSU has lost 13 straight at Maples Pavilion, last winning there in 1992-93.
Oregon State’s games can be heard live on the radio on the Beaver Sports Network including KEX 1190 AM in Portland/Salem and KEJO 1240 in Corvallis/Albany.
Both the Stanford and California games will be televised regionally by FSN.
